Tonight was the first showing of “Dreams” and honestly we were expecting a few people and more of another dress rehearsal than a performance. What we got was a full house! The place was packed! The show went off beautifully and everyone we talked to loved it! If you have yet to see the show I encourage you to see it. I was blown away tonight and I know you will be as well. See you there!

Sorry I've been away for a while. To sum up the time I've been away I will quote from a poster I saw recently. "I usually try to take it one day at a time…but lately several days have attacked me at once." Anyhow there is a light at the end of this tunnel. Moving on to the important stuff.

The recent set of changes wasn't incredibly drastic. It was basically a refresh of the website. Class Schedules have been updated, some minor bugs have been removed, and our next show, Dreams, Has been added to the calendar. The upcoming shows section on the front page will be updated with this information as well. For now the information for the play is in the calendar on the month of June.

The 2nd weekend of "The Open Stage" went beautifully. The audience grows every night. Saturday night we decided to try something new by adding bloopers at the end. It went much better than I could have hoped even though there was one accidental blooper. Turns out the handcuffs actually did get stuck on the actor's belt. Ah well it was funny anyway. If you haven't seen it yet I encourage you to come! It's a great production and one of the few that hasn't become boring yet even after the fourth showing. It is a little different every time! I will hopefully be able to get some pictures on this coming weekend (the last weekend) that I will be able to post in the photo gallery.

In other news, we will be opening a web store in the next few weeks. Currently we are only selling shirts but the listing will grow with time. As always if you have any questions feel free to ask them in the comments section.

I was in a skit at church today. I'm usually the guy behind the scenes so this has been a new and somewhat unnerving experience. New experiences are good but I'm not sure that I want to repeat this one. O_O

Hello and welcome to my new blog. Today we launch the final version of The Core Theatre’s website. It has been a long journey full of potholes as those of you that rode along with us know but we have finally reached the summit and here, at last, is the website.

All grandeur aside, I know this will be an ongoing process. Now that we have a solid base to work from new things will be coming into play. Maybe a photo gallery or something similar but for now here it is. Of course if you run across any problems or missing features please let me know immediately.
