Ages 8+. Meets weekly for 45 minutes.
This class is designed for students with special needs who need a bit more time to process information. We will use a creative approach to teaching dance utilizing streamers, tambourines, jump ropes, and other tools to to give these students a fun, safe environment to learn dance skills and movement expression.
Modern Dance I
Ages 8-12. Meets weekly for 1 hour.
Utilizes creative approaches to teaching expressive movement. Introduces artistry through movement that goes beyond the vertical, working with angles and into the floor. This class is open to boys and girls.
Modern Dance II
Ages 9-teen. Meets weekly for 1 hour.
Teaches flexibility, core body strength, coordination, expression and artistry. This class is also open to boys and girls.
Barre Fitness @ The Core
Adults and older teens. Meets weekly for 1 hour.
Uses an approach of deep plies, extensive abdominal and leg work, and overall body conditioning to develop a long, lean, fit body.
Adults. Meets weekly for 1 hour.
Ballet, Modern and Barre Fitness will rotate each week. Ballet skills will be the same as level III and modern skills will be at an intermediate level as well.
Ages TBD. Meets weekly for 1 hour.
A beginning level class introducing tap skills and designed to teach rhythmic patterns and timing.
